2018 shall be a rewarding year, especially for music. There are a number of upcoming music projects and all by novel artists who are showcasing their talent upfront. All the struggling artists in India are powerhouses of creativity and originality. And there are a handful of minor artists who are suffering under the dominance of major ones. Well, looks like that will definitely change if not completely eradicate this year. All that these artists needed was an impetus for channelizing their energy in the right direction and they are good to go. One of them is Siddharth Nigam.

Siddharth Nigam is a young teen Indian actor known especially for playing the role of young emperor Ashoka in Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat which is a historical period drama series. He was also featured in the movie Dhoom 3. He has in fact, done a number of Television series like Peshwa Bajirao and Chandra Nandini.
For this telly kid actor, 2018 shall be a very eventful year because he has been working vigorously on his upcoming project which is, in fact, a music video. “Tu naa aya” is a beautiful song which Nigam has worked for alongside debutant singer Shyamoli Sanghi. This pair has definitely given something very exciting for the audience to see.
The video is shot in Dehradun reportedly. Ravi Singhal is the composer of the song and the lyrics have been penned by Kunaal Vermaa. The video talks about the pangs of an incomplete relationship as suggested by the name itself. The initial frame may hint at a certain Aashiqui 2 feel about it but it takes a very different turn as the broken up couple recounts their beautiful relationship and everything they have been through.
All of this culminates not in a union but a heart-wrenching scene where they are drenched in a downpour of memories. The music video is equally beautiful and tragic because it very righteously chronicles the pain of separation as reflected in the lyrics –
“Ab hota hai savera
Shaam se bhi saawla
Tujhse yaadon ke alawa
Kuchh bhi to na mila…”
The music video has already garnered 4 million+ views in 2 days. This was surely a very good way to start off a career. We wish good luck to both of them and hope they keep making such enthralling music. This video will definitely mark a new addition to your “sad songs” playlist.
