Same Old ‘Deja Chu’ By The Fukrey Boys & Bholi Punjaaban

The trailer of ‘Fukrey Returns’ makes us question ‘What’s new in this sequel?’

2013 comedy ‘Fukrey’ has its sequel ‘Fukrey Returns’ all set to release next month. And now, the makers have released its trailer too.

Well, the trailer is funny, has a lot of catchy elements, has punches that will crack you and has everything that an out and out comedy film in India consists of. But, by the looks of it, seems like the Fukrey Returns has nothing new to offer.

Fukrey is a Delhi slang that means ‘good for nothing guys’. Pulkit Samrat, Ali Fazal, Manjot Singh and Varun Sharma play ‘Dilliwale fukrey’ in this one.

Richa Chadha, who played the foul-mouthed gangster ‘Bholi Panjaaban’, returns from jail in the sequel. The bad-ass character that she plays is all set to teach the Fukreys a lesson. In the trailer, she calls it the “pay-back time.”

Varun Sharma’s ability to foresee things in dreams has got a twist this time. Well, this time around Chucha sees the future, which he calls ‘Déjà chu’.

The trailer chronicles situations that are thrilling, comic and adventurous in parts, however, those who have watched Fukrey might not really find anything novel in this part. But, for the first-timers, maybe it’s a decent go!
