The first look of the much-awaited romantic movie “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga” was unveiled today, on Anil Kapoor’s birthday. Though we do not have much information regarding the plot of the story, the name of the movie was inspired by the song of the same name composed by R.D. Burman from the movie “1942: A Love Story”, starring Anil Kapoor and Manisha Koirala in the lead roles.
As per the official teaser, the movie is set in Punjab and speaks of the ‘siyappa’ (complications) that comes in true love. Fans were notified about the release of the first look of the movie as veteran actor Anil Kapoor unveiled the poster on his Instagram page. Rajkummar Rao has shared the poster on his Twitter page as well, along with wishing Mr. Kapoor a happy birthday.
According to reports, the romantic comedy revolves around the love story of a Hindu woman who is in love with a Muslim man. Her life changes drastically when she discovers that her father is in love with another woman who wants to become an actress. Sonam Kapoor and Anil Kapoor will be playing the prime roles in the movie as Balbir Chaudhary and Sweety Chaudhary respectively. The cast will include Rajkummar Rao, Regina Cassandra and Madhumalti Kapoor in different roles. The official trailer of the movie will be released on 27 December, 2018.

While we’re still waiting for the official trailer to be released, we are happy to see the off-screen father-daughter duo Anil Kapoor-Sonam Kapoor onscreen. “Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga” will be released on 1 February, 2019.
