What are the hallmarks of a famous celebrity? Of course, celebs can’t be contained in bullet points and quantifiable formulas. But you know when someone gets their statue at Madame Tussaud’s, it all just got real. World renowned celebs have their very own statues framed in wax installed at this museum that is creating history. Soon, it’s going to rain Bollywood in this place. B-town celebs are being molded into wax figures and their numbers are on the rise. As per reports, the famous Padmaavat actors Deepika and Shahid will have their own wax installations at the museum in London.
Even if you miss out on your famous celeb, the chances of you coming across their wax statue is sky high! There is a small branch established in New Delhi as well, and Diljit Dosanjh recently got a prestigious place in this one! Deepika’s statue should be up by early 2019, sculpted to perfection and imbued with the tiniest and most important detailing. And Shahid Kapoor recently made the announcement about his statue via his Instagram handle, although no specific time frame has yet been attributed to his statue.
Deepika’s statue is already a work in progress as her measurements are being taken back in London and the actress cannot hold her joy. She has been sharing her photos over social media. Her first outfit for the measurements was styled by Shaleena Nathani- a white shirt and simple leather pants. Her makeup was low key and Khair Studios took charge of her chair. After her spectacular grand entry and flamboyant dresses at the Cannes, we can only imagine what might be in store for us when it comes to this statue. As per reports, her statue will be placed next to Lady Diana and among A-list actors like Helen Mirren, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
Shahid presently is actively involved in shooting for his upcoming movie Batti Gul Meter Chalu, but we know he is going to make some time because who says no to Madame Tussaud’s? Both of them are latest additions to the ever increasing Bollywood list at the museum and we couldn’t be more proud. We just wish good luck to Ranveer and Mira.
