About Aishwarya Rai’s Unfamiliar Role In ‘Fanney Khan’

Fanney Khan is going to book theatres somewhere around next year March or April, but the recent updates on the movie, including the teaser which hit the floors very recently, has already kept the audience glued. When the cast of Fanney Khan was revealed, we were glad about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being a part, but recently when pictures of Aishwarya were leaked from the set, we rejoiced and how.

Aishwarya, who according to some sources is portraying the character of an ‘Indian Madonna’, would actually be seen in a vibrant and influential role. As we all know by now, ‘Fanney Khan’ is being officially adapted from the Oscar-nominated Dutch movie, ‘Everybody’s Famous’, Aishwarya is playing the role of Thekla Reuten, the singer whom the teenage protagonist of the movie admires. In this movie, Anil Kapoor’s teenage daughter would admire Aishwarya’s character who is a famous singer and everything about her would be charming and beautiful.

Many people have put their humble opinion that Aish’s look is similar to that of her look in ‘Ae Dil Hain Mushkil’ which was one of the most raw characters that Aishwarya was ever seen playing. In this movie, however, Aishwarya would also be witnessed romancing Rajkummar Rao, who is apparently playing her love interest.

With a trench coat and denims, Aishwarya is quite rocking the role of being an idol to a teenage girl in Fanney Khan. A video which has been leaked also portrays Aishwarya in motion, probably shooting for a scene. This Rakeysh Om Prakash Mehra movie would also be provided with a twist in the end which is, in all probability, not present in the Dutch version.

As per reports, Aishwarya also has a far more important role in the movie than the Dutch actress who played this part and reports also say that she would be playing Anil Kapoor’s daughter in the movie. Aishwarya would also be singing four songs in her own voice for the first time. Her dedication for the role has touched everyone on sets despite her being a mother to Aaradhya and taking care of her own mother who lives alone after her father’s death. However, with ‘Fanney Khan’, Aishwarya is all set to indulge herself into the industry and is considering serious offers from renowned directors.
