The Elon Musk resume is out and everyone is talking about it. The name that is synonymous with SpaceX and Tesla needs no introduction any more, but in an interesting twist, a resume writing firm decided to try out just how the resume of Elon Musk would look if he had to write it now, and whether they could take up the challenge.
This, by no means was an easy task.
If you take a look at your own resume, you would probably see about two pages at least, while some people also have resumes that are longer. While you may have felt that the length of your resume is equal to the impact it has on your recruiters, this one page of sheer brilliance may just prove you incorrect.
Elon Musk has been responsible for coming up with some or the other start-up and making a name for himself not only in his field, but in the entire world, and taking his name from just the world to right out there in space, thanks to his SpaceX expeditions that are going out into space. So how can someone fit in all of the achievements just in one page?
The resume writing firm Novoresume decided it was time to try it out and see how they could fit in all of Mister Musk’s achievements and credentials in just one page. Here’s a look at the one page resume that is trending all over the world right now.

“To let your resume have the biggest impact on your potential recruiters, you should list the responsibilities and achievements in detail. Include skills that have led to success and thereby growth. The resume should look organized,” shares Vitus Gonsalves, GM, Character Sketches
2 things you can improve in your own resume
If you take a look at the resume in detail, here are two very important pointers you can learn about how you can start your resume and just stick to the most essential facts.
All your achievements rolled into one big role
Notice how the words entrepreneur, inventor, engineer and investor are placed right at the top of the resume, to immediately bring it to the notice of the person reading it.
Your goals should rightly project what you have and are looking to accomplish
Instead of using big words to draft an impressive description of what your goals are, using examples from what you’ve actually done in the past and how to want to build on that in the future will create a bigger impact.
Here’s an interesting quote from Elon Musk that shows how you can improve yourself and your work. “Really pay attention to negative feedback and solicit it, particularly from friends. Hardly anyone does that, and it’s incredibly helpful.”
