Few days back when I wrote an article about “How to Make Peace With The Sunday Syndrome”, the first and the most prominent point was to make Friday your new Monday. Now, let us elaborate more on that with this article. Monday has forever been the villain and the carrier of ALL the burdens related to deadlines as well as new beginnings. How can a day cope with so much? Monday is the like that villain of our own making. But, it is time to make amends. Let us give Monday a break and share its burden. Let us make Friday the new Monday.

The good news is that everyone loves Friday. Loading friday with some more work will not much harm. Maybe you will love it a bit less, but you will love it anyway. It is a win win situation. You are in a good mood on Fridays with the weekends just few hours away. So, you will effectively be better off starting new projects or especially heavy projects on Fridays. Overworking on Friday is also not a bad idea because you are anyway going to get a good weekend break. Also, think about how relaxing it will be for you to just carry on with your project on Monday. The head start can be enormously helpful.

Makes The Whole Week Productive

Mondays and Tuesdays are the most productive days of the week, as per various surveys. This means, people are normally just lazing around their time on Friday! We can change that by allocating more assignments to Friday and make whole week equally productive. According to experts, rather than having one overly productive day and another overly free day, having equally productive and leisurely days throughout the week is preferable!

For those who did not read the article on it, Sunday syndrome is that sad, scary, and sinking feeling of watching the weekend slip away. The most obvious reason behind the Sunday syndrome is Monday. People are so scared of dealing with Mondays that they spend their Sunday wallowing over it. But, no more! The answer to all your problems is Friday. Stop wasting your fridays to the weekend excitement and start utilizing that day to save your entire week. Few extra hours and some extra efforts on Friday will give you the much needed head start for Monday and get rid of the much dreaded Monday blues.
