The makers of De De Pyaar De have released yet another song from its soundtrack. Dubbed Mukhda Vekh Ke, it’s a song with Punjabi lyrics that has been sung by Mika Singh and Dhvani Bhanushali. A music video for it has also been released by the T-Series YouTube channel, and it has almost all the cast members of the film in it.

Mukhda Vekh Ke is exactly the kind of song that’s suited for Mika Singh’s voice. However, Ajay Devgn lip syncing to it looks very odd. The actor’s nonchalant style doesn’t go well the with the high-energy nature of the song. It looks like a very funny mismatch.

Anyway, Mukhda Vekh Ke has been composed like every other Punjabi song these days. It’s got a healthy mix of bhangra beats and electronic sounds. This composition from Manj Musik doesn’t come across as anything fresh. Same goes for the lyrics, written by Kumaar.

As for the music video, it has Ajay Devgn getting drunk on wine at a party. He is then seen trying to woo Rakul Preet Singh with his singing and dancing, even as his ex-wife Tabu watches on. Both Rakul and Tabu join the singing and dancing later on.

De De Pyaar De is a romantic comedy that has been directed by Akiv Ali, who has worked as an editor on big films like Kites and Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai. Its story has been written by Luv Ranjan of Sonu ke Titu Ki Sweety fame.

The film’s plot has Ajay Devgn’s character falling in love with a girl almost half his age. The drama begins when he takes her to meet his parents and children, where even his ex-wife arrives with her husband. This film has been shot at locations in London, Kullu Manali and Mumbai.

De De Pyaar De has been scheduled for a May 17 arrival in theatres across India. It will be the first big release after the end of the IPL, which sort of suspends film releases during its entire duration.
