The 6 Pack Band initiative from Brooke Bond and Y-Films has just blessed us with one more track in the form of The Isspeshal Yaari Song. This one is about the spirit of friendship and has children with special needs combining their voices with Neha Kakkar’s voice. The song of course has a music video that has been carefully crafted to bring awareness towards kids with mental and physical disability.
The real star of the song is not Neha Kakkar, but the band which is comprised of Ananya, Anjali, Maitreya, Parth, Prerna and Rishaan. The Isspeshal Yaari Song has been written by Kumaar, and composed by Shameer Tandon. The song looks to create a sombre mood with its music and its vocals. The vocals are backed by light percussions, while heavy beats enter the frame during the chorus.
The song cannot be described as catchy by any means. It’s a passable track but the music video of course ends up putting forth a good point. And one thing that’s worth appreciating is the vocal performance of all the singers. These children have really showcased their talent in the song, making the most of this big opportunity. Accompanying them is Neha Kakkar with her trademark gentle voice.
Ashish Patil, Head of Y-Films, explained, “We couldn’t have found a better yaar than the supremely talented Kakkar to make this 6 Pack Band 2.0 song even more isspeshal. She helped us celebrate those isspeshal friends from across the globe who help make this world a better place!”
Like we said, The Isspeshal Yaari Song looks to bring more awareness towards children with special needs. The music video features photographs of differently abled children from all over the world, while it also has our singers visiting the Adlabs Imagica theme park in Khopoli.
Speaking about this trip, Pooja Shetty Deora, the Director of Adlabs Imagica, said, “We are proud to have hosted the kids from the 6 Pack Band 2.0 and their friends during this shoot, it was a lot of fun and learning. We must make space for those who are differently abled to have a society that is fair and equal to all.”
If you’ve watched the music video of The Isspeshal Yaari Song, tell us what you think about it.
