Super 30 has just had one more song from its soundtrack released in the form of ‘Question Mark.’ This new track has been sung by Hrithik Roshan himself, who also features in its music video, mentoring his students and advising them to look for answers to all the questions that keep popping in their minds. Like all previous songs from the album, this one too has been composed by the pair of Ajay and Atul, while its lyrics have been penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The song has opted for a mysterious tone that’s given to it by its jazz leanings. The music is laden heavily with double bass plucks and trombone cameos. “Sawaalon ke bina hai zindagi hai dark. Bulb ki tarah jala de question mark,” declares Hrithik in the chorus. The music video begins with Hrithik interacting with his students not in a classroom but outdoors. He asks mathematical questions during a cricket game and scientific ones near a railway track, before starting to sing, “Bheja nichode jo saare sawaal. Ek ek karke dhoondh ke nikaal. Kaahe na suljhenge inki majaal. Noch ke dikha dein baal ke bhi khaal.”
This being the fourth song from the Super 30 soundtrack, the first one was called ‘Jugraafiya,’ and was a romantic ballad that played on the UP dialect-based pronunciation of the word ‘Geography.’ The second one was the cheerful and upbeat ‘Paisa,’ sung by Vishal Dadlani. The third one, called ‘Basanti No Dance,’ benefits from a unique premise, and is a big highlight from this Ajay-Atul album.
Super 30 is a biographical film based on the life of mathematician Anand Kumar, who coaches underprivileged students for IIT-JEE. Apart from Hrithik Roshan, it also stars Mrunal Thakur, Virendra Saxena, Pankaj Tripathi and Aditya Srivastava. It has been directed by Vikas Bahl, who was controversially cleared of all the sexual harassment charges against him by an internal committee set up by Phantom Films and Reliance Entertainment.
Super 30 is slated to release on July 12.
