Coming off his much appreciated performance in the political drama Article 51, Ayushmann Khurrana is all set to star in the new rom-com, Dream Girl. The makers of this film have now released the first song from its soundtrack, called ‘Radhe Radhe.’ Composed by the Meet Bros, it has been set to garba beats, and talks about the love between Krishna and Radha. The song has also been released in music video form, and the clip is live now on the Zee Music India YouTube channel.

‘Radhe Radhe’ starts off with Ayushmann Khurrana dressed up as Krishna during what seems like a Navratri utsav. He dances his heart out, trying to win over his Radha, played by Nushrat Bharucha. This video has been shot on an extensive set, and features a large number of background dancers that add to the grand scale it has been shot in.

The song itself has been sung by the Meet Bros, along with Amit Gupta. Its lyrics have been penned by Kumaar. Its chorus goes, “Radhe Radhe Radhe. Oh Radhe Radhe Radhe. Tere bina Krishna toh. Lage aadhe aadhe.” The lines aren’t memorable, but they’re not bad either. Keeping the song held together is its chorus, which is sort of catchy in nature.

Dream Girl is a Balaji Motion Pictures production that’s being directed by Raaj Shaandilyaa. Although this will be his debut film, he has an expansive writing experience to bank on, as he has written around 200 scripts for Kapil Sharma’s shows.

Ayushmann Khurrana headlines the cast of Dream Girl, along with Nushrat Bharucha. The rest of the cast includes Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Vijay Raaz and Sumona Chakravarti. The film’s story revolves around the situations that follow when Ayushmann gets the job of playing a female telephone operator.

Dream Girl is scheduled to hit theatres across India on September 13.
