It’s hard to look at Shreya Ghoshal’s journey and not be shocked. She has seen a phenomenal rise in the industry ever since she entered it, which she did at a very early age. And her career is still going very strong, thanks to her immense talent and discipline. Sung as a duet along with Arijit Singh, Samjhawan is a great showcase of what her voice is capable of rendering. And there is no surprise that this song became such a big hit when it first arrived.
The film Happy New Year couldn’t pull off much at the box office, but its music was liked by many. The top song from the soundtrack was definitely this one, with its utterly romantic tone and of course, the excellent singing by Shreya Ghoshal.
