Dutch DJ Martin Garrix has teased a big collaboration via his social channels. This upcoming track that’s called Summer Days will have him teaming up with American rapper, Macklemore and Fall Out Boy’s frontman, Patrick Stump. A short clip from the song has also been released, with the full song having been scheduled to arrive on Thursday. Spotify is already allowing you to pre-save the track to your playlist.
The YouTube teaser which you can spot in the space below doesn’t give away much. As its name suggests, the song has quite a summery vibe going for it. It features muffled vocals sung to the backdrop of a minor-chord organ melody. You might say it sounds a bit romantic as well. But that’s about as far as we can speculate given the incredibly short duration of this clip. We’re also not sure whether a music video will accompany the track or not.
Apart from Martin Garrix, Macklemore and Fall Out Boy have also teased the track’s release via their social channels. The teaser features tall red-coloured palm trees touching the blue sky above. Summer Days will of course be released via Stmpd Rcrds, the record label founded by Martin Garrix himself.
Martin has been having a great 2019 so far. His single No Sleep, featuring Bonn, was released this February, and quickly became a hit. In the same month, he performed at Ultra Music Festival in Sydney and Melbourne, in Australia. In March moreover, he headlined Tomorrowland Winter, which was held in France. The same month also saw him performing at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami, and now, the same festival will be travelling to Singapore in June, where too, he will be seen playing his trademark music.
If you’re excited for Summer Days, you can expect it to be released on streaming platforms on Thursday at 8 am ET.
