Why this 10 minute long silent song is cracking the top 50 on iTunes charts?

And people as re paying to download it!

Move over ‘Despacito’, as Samir Mezrahi’s unusual tune – a silent song – has found its way onto the top 50 on the iTunes charts. ‘Aaaaa Very Good Song’that consists entirely of ten minutes of silence, costs 99 cents. Till Friday afternoon, the track was at No.30 on the iTunes chart, just two spots behind Ed Sheeran’s hit ‘Shape of You.’

Mezrahi tweeted to ‘Despacito’ remix singer Justin Bieber, “here I come for your #1 spot.”

So what was the purpose behind releasing a silent song?

Mezrahi tweeted saying, “Hey I released a blank song that will play 1st so that *one* song won’t play every time u plug ur phone into ur car.”

When people plug smartphones into a car, it plays song automatically; usually the first alphabetical title in the handset’s library plays by default.

“Aaaaa Very Good Song” offers users several minutes of respite.

Complains, complains and more complains!

Not just Apple Fanboys, but even the Android users – Yes, the song is available on Google Play too – have made complaints for paying 99 cents forthis 10 minutes of silence in their charts!LOL.

We can’t stop laughing over this one.
