The third installment of the Yamla Pagla Deewana film series, Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se, is set to hit the screens soon and the makers have unveiled the trailer of the film today. While the first in the series was a superhit, the second installment did not manage to pull in the crowds as expected but this third installment looks like it’s back with a bang; full of fun, mischief, and action.

Looks like the Deols are back with another comic caper. Dharmendra who was full of mischief at the trailer launch has a colorful character in the film, and it seems like he’s had the most fun in the film! Sunny ‘paaji’ as usual seems to have a more ‘gambir’ role and is shown displaying the strength of his ‘dhai kilo ka haath’. In the trailer, we see Sunny do some cool action, while the youngest Deol, Bobby seems to play the spoilt youngest son. Like the previous trailer, Bobby is seen mimicking Dharmendra’s famous Sholay scene once again in this one too. Where he is telling his father that he loves his women more than his sons.

The surprise pack, however, is the entry of Salman Khan in the film. Salman also has a dance cameo in the film. Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se is directed by Navaniat Singh and is a comic caper like the previous installments featuring the three Deols; Dharmendra, Sunny, and Bobby. Even though it is a sequel, the story of Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se is completely new. Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se looks like a fun film.

Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se also stars Kriti Kharbanda, Binnu Dhillon, Johnny Lever, Gurmeet Saajan and Rana Ranbir.Kriti Kharbanda seems to be making her presence felt in Bollywood, first with her small yet impactful role in Karwaan and now in Yamla Pagla Deewana where she plays a Gujarati girl. Speaking about her role she said, “ I know nothing about Gujarati, I had to learn to speak in Gujarati especially for the film. Working on the film has been such a great experience and the Deol’s are very warm people and we were like family while working on the film. I am in awe of them and words are not enough to describe how I feel about working with them,” said a Kriti while fighting tears.

Yamla Pagla Deewana: Phir Se was earlier set to release on 15 August along with Akshay Kumar’s Gold and John Abraham’s Satyame Vijayete but has been postponed to 31 August. The audience and the media cheered out loud after watching the film and the film already looks like it’s going to be a super hit!
