Long before being related to the ‘Pataudi’ family, Kunal Khemu has been a known name in Bollywood. Being born in a family which had good connections with the Indian Film Industry, and the grandson to a writer, Khemu found his passion for acting at a very young age. Interestingly, he had been seen in side roles in famous movies like Raja Hindustani (1996) starring Aamir Khan and Karisma Kapoor, and Zakhm (1998), starring Ajay Devgan and Pooja Bhatt. But, Khemu’s big break was in the year 2005, when he was cast as the lead character ‘Kunal’ in the movie Kalyug (2005).

As the actor turns 35 today (25th May, 2018), here are some of Khemu’s movies that really left an impact–

While people praise Tusshar Kapoor for his brilliant acting of a deaf and dumb, we cannot undermine Kunal Khemu’s role as Laxman in the movie series. His way of maintaining his character throughout left us with nothing but appreciation for him.

You cannot keep your eyes from noticing the amazing bond that Kunal Khemu and Saif Ali Khan share in this movie. Their bond as brothers-in-law gets vehemently reflected in this movie which is about zombies and everything which challenges our very existence. Kunal’s performance left us speechless throughout the movie!

This overdramatic name of Kunal Khemu in the movie has an interesting explanation. Not to spoil things for you, the movie basically revolves around our man, Kunal Khemu. With Konkona Sen Sharma, Ranvir Shorey and Neetu Sharma, this movie confidently oversaw the Director Trophy at one of the most prestigious awards, The National Awards.

After Kunal P. Darr in Kalyug, there was no looking back for Khemu. This thriller made its place in Bollywood within minutes after releasing. Emraan Hashmi and Kunal Khemu, the then newcomers in B-Town were tremendously appreciated for their performances.

Kunal’s fans definitely want him to return back to the ‘bada parda’, and we also cannot wait for the pictures from his birthday bash! Here’s wishing him a very happy birthday!
