The trailer for the highly anticipated Avengers: Endgame has finally been released.Even before the release, the film has already made headlines with many fans expressing their anger after a poster was released. The fans were angry as the makers had not mentioned Danai Gurira’s name in the credits at the top of the poster. After hate posts from fans, Marvel Studios released a new poster with the relevant changes!
While the fans seem to be satisfied and happy, the makers have given them another reason to be happy by releasing the trailer. However, the trailer does not give away much about the movie, or does it? For one, Avengers: Endgame seems to have a lot of flashbacks to previous Marvel movies like Captain America: The First Avenger, Avengers: Infinity War, Iron Man etc. but with a change in the color tone that is more towards red. The flashbacks also remind fans of how much the Avengers have lost in the past years of Marvel and interestingly all the flashback scenes are in tones of grey and black with a bit of red.
If you are a real fan and have paid great attention to the trailer, there’s a lot that the two and half minute trailer gives out. For starters the flashbacks also suggest that these characters might travel back to revisit their own pasts. The outfits and the haircuts of the characters in the movie say quite a bit about it. Hawkeye’s flashback shot with his daughter, where he’s teaching her to use a bow and arrow, also makes us think whether she is the potential future Avenger Kate Bishop.
At the end of the trailer, when Captain Marvel shows up, Black Widow is sporting the same blonde short hair as in Infinity War but later her hair is not only darker but also longer, and in other scenes her hair is back to its familiar red color and still longer, all of which tells us that maybe the movie spans over some years!
Towards the end of the trailer, the Avengers are seen wearing new costumes and walking ahead, which suggests that maybe they are heading towards the final confrontation with Thanos. But in this shot the three main characters Captain Marvel, Hulk and Thor are missing in this scene, does this mean that they are on a completely separate mission?
Well we have to wait a little longer for all the answers! Avengers: Endgame is set to hit theaters on 26 April. The film stars an ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Benedict Cumberbatch, Don Cheadle, Tom Holland, Chadwick Boseman, Paul Bettany, and Elizabeth Olsen, among others.
