Well obviously, the super drama infused romantic Bollywood movies is where we go. Bollywood is known for its stunning knack for romantic movies and thus, it has given us few beautiful stories. Let us relive few of them in this week of love!

Veer Zaara

Veer-Zara has undisputedly the most romantic music album ever! Every song of this movie is heartwarmingly passionate and treat to ones ears. Apart from the music, the movie also has a great storyline with some exceptional direction by the great Yash Chopra himself. A story of unconditional love and sacrifice, Veer and Zaara is an epitome old school love. And not to forget, the movie stars the King of Romance Shah Rukh Khan himself along with the very pretty Preity Zinta!

Vivek Oberoi is one of the most underrated actors of Bollywood. In fact, I can go ahead and say he IS THE MOST underrated actor of Bollywood. Saathiya is one of the most adorable romantic movies ever made in Bollywood. It is the remake of South Fillm- Alaipayuthey and starred Vivek Oberoi and Rani Mukerji. The movie beautifully depicts the reality of love after marriage. A.R. Rahman’s music is just a cherry on the cake. Shaad Ali’s direction is praiseworthy but it is Vivek and Rani’s chemistry that made this film so special.

Jab We Met

Here is a movie that is EVERYONE’S FAVORITE! In fact, for most of us it is much more than just a movie. It is an experience. It is a journey of finding oneself and falling in love. Falling in love WITH YOURSELF! Jab We Met is also undoubtedly the career best performance of Kareena Kapoor. Shahid Kapoor is exceptional too in the movie but it is there combined screen presence that does the magic. It is never a bad time to revisit this classic movie.

Dum Laga Ke Haisha

Here’s a critically acclaimed movie of recent times. The movie starred a very cute Ayushmann Khurrana and a very gorgeous Bhumi Pednekar. It is basically a story of an overweight Sandhya and a school drop-out Prem who get married owing to parental pressure. This movie reestablishes your faith in arranged marriages, despite all its shortcomings. It is a movie that teaches you exceptional chapters of love, heartbreak, and patience. At the end of it all, the movie highlights that love gives you more strength than any other feeling or motivation.

Namastey London

This is the quintessential Bollywood flick! A true blue desi romantic movie that will brighten your and your partner’s mood! It is a story of true love and understanding. It is a story of the limits one can go to achieve one’s love. A full on entertainer with its own specially crafted heartwarming moments, Namaste London is a must watch. Add Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s renowned chemistry to that and BANG! It’s the perfect movie for this week.

Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi

Not every movie has to be realistic. Rab ne bana di Jodi is a movie that is far from reality but extremely close to heart. It is about a simple and uninteresting man trying to win the love and affection of his wife. The movie shows how people test their limits and do everything they can when it comes to LOVE. All in all, the movie flawlessly depicts the struggles of arranged marriage. The movie has beautiful songs and brilliant chorography. Shahrukh Khan has given one of his best performances as Sukhwinder and as Raj, his alter ego. The movie also happens to be Ansuhka Sharma’s debut movie and her performance was widely appreciated.

“Mere Seene Ki Aag Yaa Toh Mujhe Zinda Kar Sakti Thi Ya fir Mujhe Mar Sakti Thi, Par Saala Ab Uthe Kaun,Kaun Phir Se Mehnat Kare dil lagane ko Tudwane ko, Abey Koi Toh Aawaz De Ke Rok lo, Yeh jo ladki murda si aanke liye baithi hai bagal mein, Aaj Bhi Haa Bol De Toh Mahadev Ki Kasam Wapas Aa Jayenge, Par Nahi Ab Saala Mood Nahi, Aankhe Moond lene Main Hi Sukh Hai So Jane Me Hi Bhalai, Par Uthenge Kisi Din Ussi Ganga Kinare Damru Bajane ko unhi banaras k galiyo me doud jane ko kisi Zoya ke ishq me phir se padh jaane ko” – Kundan, Raanjhanaa Enough said, right? :’)

It doesn’t matter which movie you watch, as long as it you have someone to watch it with. If you don’t, go out and look for someone! There’s no fun in being single. Do not let those motivational articles misguide you.
