The story of a group of three men taking us on a hilarious adventure is not new, and definitely not new in Bollywood. All good things come in a package of three, so we have had Dil Chahta Hain and its modern version-ZNMD and we have had the franchise that initiated a laughter riot- Masti. Pradeep Singh’s story, directed by Jayesh Pradhan perhaps at several points will remind us of the three men from Masti, always looking for something more. Nawabzaade is, however, different because the three men are the DID champs Punit Pathak, Dharmesh Yelande and Raghav Juyal a.k.a cockrox.
This is where the movie becomes increasingly interesting. All the three dancers are featured in pivotal roles, so we can expect some well synced and performed dance moves. Their acting isn’t too bad as well. The trailer gives us the main story- three friends whose lives come to a standstill when they fall for the same girl- played by Isha Rikhi whose debut was in the Punjabi movie Jatt Boys Putt Jattan De. The story begins when it is discovered that they are all chasing the same woman and how this seemingly important complication resolved is not revealed obviously and you will have to wait till the 27th of July to find it out.

Although it will collide with Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster 3, the makers are chill about this one. It is Jayesh Pradhan’s directorial debut, we have seen him in the capacity of a choreographer earlier for a few movies. Is the movie funny? Well sure, it is generically categorized as a rom com and the slapstick comedy is hilarious. Although we are unaware of any twist or curveball the movie might bring, the glimpse of the story that we get via the trailer gives us the impression that this movie is predictable, and we already know how it will end before it even begins.
Men have been chasing women in the big screens since forever now with their typical “ati kya khandala” attitude. Since the cast is unconventional this time, we might expect to see something unconventional in the same old theme too!
