Winter is all about enjoying, making the most by being together and loving our family, or friends for that matter. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and what not? Yet, amidst all the fun and games, we often forget to take care of our own selves. We tend to either over-hype or overeat, sometimes, both at the same time. Most of the times, it’s our skin and other areas of the body that suffer the most due to our negligence.
Now you may wonder, who has the time to be tip and top when there’s so much going on? Well, for being healthy throughout, it is absolutely mandatory that we look healthy as well and looking healthy could be up the charts if we provide our body with the basic ingredients filled with love and care!
Some parts of the body are way too notorious during winter making you totally worked up for them. Well, you should know exactly what to do with each part. Remember, a little effort could fetch you amazing results:
Show Some Love To Your Underarms

We often underrate our underarms in winter because they are always inside due to the extensive cold atmosphere. But, this part is one of the most dried up parts during winter, I mean, did you at all know that? Shocking, isn’t it? If you could just use moisturising deodorants which would provide you with a good odour and keep your underarms moisturised, nothing like it. If that’s not happening for you, go for softening creams to apply there and you wouldn’t have to worry!
Smooth And Soft Elbows For Winters
If you don’t feel any irritation here during winter, trust me, your skin is flawless! Elbows are the most dried up parts during winter. Also, due to the constant contact with your clothes’ fabric, your elbow might not be having a great time. A moisturiser can work wonders here. Exfoliating your skin once in a while would also make sure that the dryness doesn’t stay.
Keep Your Lips Dewy And Attractive

Oh my god, lips becoming chapped is the most common distress in winter. Also, since we are mostly dehydrated during winter, the roughness could be due to that as well. A good lip balm could be enough for your lips, but a home-made remedy comprising olive oil and sugar along with some honey could be just the right thing for you and your lips. Try this out!
The Feel-Good Factor Of Silky Knuckles
Drying of the knuckles and palms is a common thing in winter. But, this shouldn’t repeat because it leaves you irritated and too dry. So applying a good moisturiser every hour (if it’s way too cold) or within 3-4 hours could be of great help.
Let’s start caring for our beautiful skins and make sure ‘the cold doesn’t bother them, anyway’. If you start it off today, there’s no one to stop you from having fun this winter, not even your own skin.
