Phil is of the future no more. Robots, futuristic gadgets and more are soon going to turn into our reality. And it is worth noting that with the increasing dependence of the population on Artificial Intelligence and robots, the vision of film makers like Stanley Kubric and more will no longer remain just a vision. Who knows, AI robotic news anchor today, flying cars and time machines tomorrow!
China’s Xinhua News Agency on Tuesday unveiled the world’s first female #AI news anchor, “Xin Xiaomeng,’ who will make her professional debut during the upcoming meetings of the country’s national legislature and top political advisory body #TwoSessions pic.twitter.com/9gGDpfwfil

Yes, you heard it right! China is all set to launch the world’s first female AI News Anchor on television. The ‘news anchor’ is all set to cover the upcoming political conferences in China and has near human intelligence as well as an emotional quotient to understand human feelings.
With changes happening so rampantly in the world over, it will not come as a shock to any of us if robots soon take over and start dominating the world.

Films like Her and The Matrix predicted the change quite a few years before, and it is only obvious that China is well on its way to fulfilling that prophecy. They have already introduced the first male AI News Anchor last year who (or which?!) has been a huge success and now he will get his partner very soon.
It will be rather interesting to see if the robotic world domination will be possible in the near future. Will humans get newer job descriptions while robots will do the work that we no longer want to do? Or will the plot thicken and robots take over the world like a zombie invasion?

And since China is building up its own Artificial Intelligence arsenal pretty rapidly, can we really expect the United State to be far behind? Facebook and Google have already started their AI operations and the world just have to wait with bated breath to see what the two tech giants finally end up unveiling.
As for now, we can always try tuning into the Chinese channels and enjoy having our daily news (daily weather included) read out to us by a female robot!
