Every month is a reading month! You should and you must read books in every month of the year. But you know what you shouldn’t? It is reading the SAME kind of books throughout the year. Now that’s not cool. If you want to be a cool reader, choose your read according to the weather or the season or let’s make it even more convenient- according to the MONTH!
We are in middle of August right now! And August comes right in the middle of the rainy season. So, the reading worthy climate is already taken care of. Nothing compliments a rainy day better than a fiction written with the premise of physiological thriller. “The Girl on the train” by Paula Hawkins is very popular book know especially for its uniqueness and freshness brought to the library of contemporary literature. If you love reading fictions, this is your jam!
As far as the story is concerned, it revolves around the life of three women Rachel, Anna, and Megan. Rachel is the alcoholic girl on the train who watches and admires Megan’s life from the train’s window every day. Anna is Rachel’s ex-husband’s then-mistress and now-wife, who is afraid of Rachel and her aggressive behavior. Read the book to find out the rest!
The best aspect of this book is that it’s so interesting, it’s SO INTERESTING, that you can easily finish it in one sitting. You can race, who finishes before, you or the rains 😛
Love Story By Erich Segal – A Romantic Tragedy

Every month is good for a fantastic love story. But August makes it just a little bit more special with it’s climate and the general atmosphere of calmness. Love story by Eric Segal is an insanely popular love story that once read can never be forgotten. You know why? Because you’ll always find yourself coming back to it.
The book narates a story of two college sweethearts who overcome their adversities through their love for each other. Even though it’s set in 1970s, you won’t even realise when you start taking their romantic tale extremely personally.
If you choose to read this book, prepare yourself for a monsoon if your own (in your eyes of course).
Harry Potter Series By J.K. Rowling – A Fantasy (😭)

And then sometimes you just don’t want to take a risk. You want to go swimming in the pool of nostalgia. And that’s why we are suggesting you this classic. All criticism aside, this movie is what it is (literally) – MAGICAL! And so is this month! Now, we are assuming you have already read this series. But just in case, JUST IN CASE, you haven’t. READ IT RIGHT AWAY! GET STARTED ALREADY!!
