No Matter What, You Deserve These Things In Life

We all deserve these things!

All of us appreciate the days when we get what we believe we deserved. And when things go south, we become our best defendants and know for sure that “I didn’t deserve it!”

But when do we question this self-worth more frequently? When do we believe what we have is less than we are meant to have? It can vary depending upon how much one values oneself. Nevertheless, we have for you three things that I’m sure you’ll want the most in the world. Not only because they’re essential, but because you are and YOU DESERVE THEM!

Love, Kindness And Respect!

These three are put together because they should come together! The people who love you SHOULD respect you and be kind to you and vice versa. Be it your parents, siblings, partners or children, you deserve loving and respectful gestures from all your significant people which shows how much you mean to them, how much your opinion matters, how much you are missed when not around and how essential your presence is to them! This feeling of being wanted and desired respectfully helps you value your self-worth and makes you a more confident person! So, no matter what, only surround yourself with people (or animals, because why not!) who make you feel wanted and loved.

Happiness And Positivity!

Happiness and positivity are so ridiculously oversold these days that it makes us question how much sad we are becoming. But is it that easy? Well no, the concept of happiness is little understood. We all believe that we can get it somewhere, “I’ll become happy if I get a boyfriend or I’ll become happy if I read a book on jokes” or things like that. Well, let me paraphrase an inspiring quote by Victor Frankl for you- ‘One cannot get happiness somewhere if one goes looking for it; it follows you. Just keep doing what you do your best. It’ll come.’ You deserve to be happy and surrounded with optimism and what we all do wrong is go out finding it. What Frankl means to say is, try to become the best version of yourself at everything and you’ll be happy. If you feel you aren’t happy even after that, you’ll know deserve some other thing. Pursue that!

A Break!

It sounds scary sometimes, a break, not only to yourself but even to people around us. We feel scared because we imagine we’ll get bored of it eventually and/or will regret it. On the other hand, the people around us think that we have now lost what it takes! But tell me, what do you do when your laptop gets messed up? The first thought is “Restarting it will fix everything!” Because we believe that whatever has gone wrong in it will automatically get mended after a minute of (if I may say) “break” or so! Well, don’t you think we deserve the same? A restart or at times, a full-fledged break? The world is becoming madder day by day and we need to shed off the load at times to step into it once again with a revamp of our own! There’s nothing to be ashamed of in deserving a break, it’s your life and you have the most amount of say in rebooting it anytime you want.

At last, I’d like to say that there must be a million other things that you believe you deserve in life. What I wish for you is to appreciate, treasure and nurture when you get them. It is like filing a return when you’re getting a good salary! Love back, be kind, and respect! Spread happiness and positivity even if it means smiling while greeting strangers. Let people know they can take a break and they’re still and will always remain worthy! That’ll be a life where you get and give back, a circle which evolves beautifully throughout.
