We all know how difficult life can be. Would you rather face this difficult life alone or as a couple? It’s definitely better as a couple. I am not saying it. Research says it. Renowned psychologists say it. And just think about it! Coping with stress is always easier with someone to lean on, isn’t it? So, instead of dealing with all the difficulties and stress alone, team up and kick its butt as a power couple! When you find your partner in stress, when you find your partner going through rough times, help them cope! How? Here’s how-

Feel Free To Turn To Your Partner

When nothing makes sense and you are all messed up, it’s completely alright to turn to your partner. Maybe even take it all out on your partner. It is important for the one on receiving end to be extremely patient and understanding. Be a good observer in your relationship. When you notice your partner in stress or acting differently, try to get it out of their system. Try to reach the core of it. Instead of ignoring it or fighting with them for their behaviour, pull them closer and make them feel welcomed. Listen to what they have to say and try to understand their perspective. Sometimes, that’s all one needs to cope with the stress- a good listener.

Okay it’s naturally possible that both of you, individually, are under huge stress. In such a situation, there is no magic want to cope. You have to take turns in helping each other.
