Shraddha Kapoor whose film, Stree will soon hit the theaters is one star kid who had the most unconventional beginning in spite of being a star kid. She had to go through a struggle and auditions like any aspiring actor. Shraddha tells HotFridayTalks,“I was like any normal person wanting to be a part of films, I auditioned like anyone else who wants to act. I am glad my father never recommended my name to anyone and I made it till here on my own. I am very proud of that fact.”
But did you know that Shraddha was a very popular kid among her gang of friends. She was also very daring says Shraddha, “I have done things like plan chits etc. when I was younger and in school. At that age I think we are all very daring, it’s once we grow up that fears start creeping in and you get scared of stupid things like the dark.”

In fact, the co-stars of her horror comedy, Stree, tried to pull a prank on her and scare her on the sets but she didn’t let them scare her. “They tried to throw an artificial snake on me to scare me but It didn’t scare me, I was just like yeh kya hai? and I felt so cool that I didn’t react or get scared!” shares Shraddha.

Besides being daring as a kid, Shraddha tells us that she was also a leader of sorts among her friends in the society she lived in. “I had a club called the X Files Club and I had made myself the President of the club. I then hunted for members for the club and people joined in. In the X Files Club, we created our own mysteries and solved them too. Surprisingly, my building friends easily agreed to make me the President. There is this apartment in my building, that is not occupied and the doors are normally open and inside that apartment there were these dolls that were left behind and we made up stories like the dolls are possessed and they become alive at night! Besides that we also had a cookery club where we made the most unedible brownies and sold them for 5 rupees! People actually bought those too and we added that money to our pocket money. I used to start these clubs and everyone used to want to join in. My X files club was a one of the most successful ones,” says Shraddha.
Well, we have no doubts about that! Here’s wishing you more success in life.
