Birthday Girl Jacqueline Fernandez Shares Secrets Behind Her Glorious Looks And Great Body

Who wouldn’t want a sexy body and gorgeous looks like Jacqueline Fernandez? Being an actor, and a gorgeous one at that, is not very easy, it takes a lot of effort to stay that way. She’s a friendly and fun loving actor, who I never tire of chatting with. Unlike a lot of other women, Jacqueline has no qualms about sharing the secrets behind that stunning look. As she humbly says, “It’s nothing much, just a combination of a good skincare, healthy diet and a regular fitness regime.” Here’s what she shared in an interview with me earlier.

Hair Care

She loves the ‘champi’ and makes sure she gets a hot coconut oil head massage at least once a week. She also shampoos her hair after she’s done shooting for the day to get rid of all the hair products used for styling. Whenever she has the time, she likes to make her own homemade egg white mask for shiny hair and also likes to rinse her hair with beer. Besides that, she makes sure she eats food like nuts, flax seeds and fish that are rich in Omega-3.

Skin Care

It’s difficult to believe that she had an acute acne problem as a teenager, but that’s true. She manages to stay acne free because she takes extra care of her skin. She starts her day with a glass of warm water that’s mixed with a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar. Though she might endorse beauty products, she prefers using homemade packs. Her favourite lip balm she says is honey! Another thing she never does is sleep with her make up on, no matter how tired she may be. To keep her skin hydrated, she likes to spray aloe vera or rose water, besides drinking a plenty of water and coconut water, which she loves.

Fitness

When it comes to fitness, she likes a holistic approach. She normally wakes up at around 7 am. After she’s done with her morning rituals, she works out for an hour or two at home. She alternates her regular fitness routine that includes strength training and cardio with different forms of yoga; either Aahtanga, Iyengar or Hatha. Besides that she also likes to swim, dance and now she’s added pole dace too. She always finds time to meditate and do a bit of pranayam no matter how hectic her schedule maybe. When she works out in the gym she prefers to do light weights.

Diet

If you ever get the chance to peek into her food basket, this is what you are sure to find: fruits, nuts, salads, green veggies and coconut milk. She says she loves adding coconut milk to her smoothies too. She tries to avoid sugar and swears by sushi and salmon! Her dinner is usually light. On her cheat days, she indulges in everything from pizzas to chocolates and cakes. But the secret is she tries to walk after that.
